Debate Academy is an AI-powered platform for empathy training through debate practice. Users engage in structured conversations with AI opponents or other users, receive scores on empathy and reasoning quality, and track their growth over time. The platform is designed to help people practice difficult conversations in a safe environment before they happen in real life.
You own your account data. We do not sell your personal information or debate transcripts to third parties. Your email, name, and debate history belong to you. You may request deletion or export of your data at any time.
Debate transcripts and arguments you create during debates remain your intellectual property. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the platform's AI scoring and identify patterns in how people argue. Community submissions (scenarios, empathy sightings, civic actions) may be published publicly if you elect to share them; you retain the right to request removal at any time.

Users under 13 are not permitted. Users aged 13–17 require parental or guardian consent. Kids Mode (available to users under 18) provides content filtering, simplified language, and restricted debate topics to ensure age-appropriate practice.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harassment, or attempt to abuse the platform. Termination is permanent unless we determine the violation was in error.
