The Empathy Enigma

Empathy is a skill.
Skills are practiced.

Most people already feel more than they manage to say. The gap isn't caring — it's practice. So we built the reps.

One real situation. Your own words. Feedback on five specific things you either did or didn't do. Two minutes, no account.

The first rep is free. The full practice library is a subscription.

What gets measured
Acknowledgment

Recognizing that what the other person feels is real — without having to agree that they are right.

Steelman

Restating their argument at its strongest — in a form they'd accept — before you answer it.

Curiosity

Wanting to know why someone holds a position, not just what position they hold.

Non-judgment

Hearing a view before running it through your own moral scoring.

Door Open

Ending the conversation with the relationship intact. Disagreement should not cost you the person.

Why this, and why now

People consistently believe the other side is more extreme than it is, because the loudest few are the ones we actually see. Practice at picturing the ordinary person instead of the loudest one is trainable, and it is the thing this platform trains.
